Your role
In the role of Recruiter for the Sanoma Learning BeNe organization, you will be responsible for efficiently meeting the company’s hiring needs, while ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates. You are responsible for the end2end recruitment process, i.e. from supporting the hiring manager in identifying the recruitment needs, describing the job requirements, publishing the vacancy till screening candidate resumes, interviewing candidates to making the offer. The recruiter is also responsible for defining process and system improvements. You will be part of the BeNe HR team.
Your key areas of responsibility
- You collaborate with hiring managers to create job descriptions and interview questions.
- You source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- You conduct interviews and assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- You manage the candidate pipeline and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- You manage continuous improvement projects in the area of talent acquisition in close collaboration with the other HR and recruitment colleagues in the countries. Projects can be on either the process or the system.
- You collaborate with HR Operations in order to leverage the Recruitment module of Workday to the max.
- You collaborate with your BeNe and Nordics HRBP and Recruiter colleagues to ensure consistent ways of working that are compliant with (local) policies.
- You will report into the HR Director BeNe & Nordics.
What do we expect from you in this role?
- Relevant bachelor's or master's degree;
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Recruitment domain, preferably in a complex and corporate organization and within a transformational context;
- You are interpersonal savvy;
- You communicate effectively;
- You value differences;
- You think in processes and process improvements;
- You leverage HRIS and recruitment systems efficiently;
- You support decision making by means of data analytics and reports;
- You are hands on and result driven with a people mindset;
- You can plan and organize your work independently;
- Knowledge of and experience with Workday is a preference;
- You involve and positively influence stakeholders throughout Sanoma Learning;
- You have excellent Dutch and English speaking and writing skills. French speaking and writing skills is a pre.
