Corporate Finance Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for an Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in our HQ in Leidschendam. The Corporate Finance team sits in Global Finance and focuses on the strategic remit of the CFO including Fugro’s capital structure, strategic finance and investments. As Analyst you provide key financial insights that supports decision-making and align capital and resource allocation.

Your role

• You will support quantification and execution of Fugro's strategy ‘Towards Full Potential’ with a focus on forecasting and strategic financial analysis;

• You will be tasked with financial modelling and perform quantitative and qualitative quality checks and deep dives for inputs, including variance and scenario analysis;

• You will develop and support multi-year strategic planning for various businesses and strategic initiatives;  

• You support investment decisions with financial DD, valuation, benchmarking and cash flow analysis;

• You perform ad hoc project work related to M&A, Financing, FP&A and Treasury;

Your track record

• You have a university bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field;

• You have a strong understanding of financial statements, key performance indicators and cashflows as well as experience in forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis;

• You have an exceptional analytical ability, conceptual thinking skills and enjoy working with numbers and people

• You have relevant professional experience either in within another large corporate or in an advisory capacity. We consider it an advantage if you bring along experience in transaction services, consulting or banking;

• English at professional level is required, Dutch (>NT2/B1) is an advantage;
