Position Purpose:
The Home Depot’s Digital Channels and Communications Technology team is searching for a highly motivated, solutions-oriented candidate to join the team managing the company’s internal social network. The Corporate Communications Manager works closely with the Senior Manager of Web Communications to drive continuous engagement in minute-by-minute conversations, social listening and monitoring, reporting and system administration on THD’s Viva Engage network, reaching 500k associates. This individual collaborates with clients across the business to build and execute tailored and creative internal social media campaigns and tactics that exceed YOY engagement targets. The ideal candidate is a creative, critical thinker with a knack for easily boiling down complex issues into easy-to-understand messaging, is technology proficient, and can quickly pick up business concepts, nuances and nomenclature.
The incumbent will be responsible for leading the charge in the social listening space by actively monitoring and analyzing global, topic and discussion-level information to assist with issue resolution and drive business improvement. The ideal candidate must have experience with internal social media and collaboration platforms like Viva Engage or corporate external social platform management experience (e.g., Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports network community managers with training/onboarding, management and administration of their respective communities
- Daily platform monitoring, including conversation, topics, technical issues (general platform health, platform features, etc.).
- Serving as a thought partner in developing engaging internal social campaigns and metric reporting with key stakeholders throughout The Home Depot
- Partners across Corporate Communications to amplify and expand enterprise messaging as appropriate for Viva Engage

- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
