Corporate Action Platform - IT Business Senior Analyst (AVP) - Hybrid

The Information Services Group (ISG) Data Solutions organization aims to support Citi on its journey to adopt a data driven culture by delivering innovative technology solutions and simplifying access to quality data and business intelligence. The ISG organization works in partnership with data clients across Citi business lines deploying solutions to increase their competitiveness, through restructuring business processes, simplifying information access, and providing business intelligence around critical data. This role is part of Reference Data Management group in ISG Data Solutions.

The IT Business Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical, and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Team Overview:

The Global Corporate Action Event Repository is a strategic technology platform supported by a globally distributed Execution Business Analysis team. This team ensures the accuracy and timeliness of platform information, with client and user requirements driving the Product Roadmap. Major tasks include:

• Processing vendor data feeds and internal upstream client data

• Mapping data

• Analyzing and researching data

• Working on SWIFT messages and User Interfaces

• Publishing data to downstream clients (via cloud, custom publisher) as XML/reports

• Managing rules and governance

• Managing audits, compliance, and coverage

Responsibilities:

• Create business and function requirements

• Data modelling and mapping

• Data mining and transformation

• SQL Proficiency

• Work closely with IT, PM and Operations partners

• Develop Interfaces - Web GUI / API

• Work with Data Providers Vendors (Internal & External)

• Define EPICs and User Stories based on Client Requirements

• Work with Stakeholders

• Documentation and User Training

Required Skills:

• Proven ability to collaborate with clients to gather and document business requirements.

• Possesses strong analytical and writing skills, including proven experience in creating functional and technical specifications.

• Experience in validation and testing in collaboration with Dev/QA/Operations.

• Understanding of Data Vendor/Data Source Hierarchy for Golden Copy in an advantage

• Experience and/or understanding of business process reengineering, business modeling concepts, business systems development, and business analysis

• Ability to focus on high quality work while under pressure

• Data oriented with excellent attention to detail

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a technology role

• Proven ability of using complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques

• Proven interpersonal, diplomatic, organizational, and prioritization skills

• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

• Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly

• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
