Copywriter

Maker Lab is looking for a dynamic individual to join an exciting project we’ve embarked on with our technology client. Our client's brand is complex and innovative and paving the way for creative avenues to revolutionise the tech industry in unconventional ways. 

As a Copywriter, you'll partner across a wide range of departments, ideating and crafting compelling written campaigns that connect with our diverse audience. You're a creative problem solver, a brand voice visionary, and a master of end-to-end execution, ensuring our verbal identity shines across multiple touchpoints.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, bringing fresh and innovative ideas based on the latest trends, and working closely with fellow creatives and cross-functional teams.

Role:

  • Partner with creatives to brainstorm and drive dynamic campaign ideation, developing innovative communication strategies through compelling copy.
  • Craft campaign concepts to life with clear, compelling written content, ensuring alignment with brand voice and tone, while pushing creative boundaries.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other teams to shape and maintain brand voice and messaging, ensuring consistency across multiple touchpoints.
  • Develop and execute campaign ideation of projects according to marketing plans, focusing on written content.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand campaign objectives and requirements, translating them into effective copy.
  • Execute internally led projects, including the development of key messaging, scripts, and written content for various mediums.
  • Assist agencies with the execution and development of key campaign messaging and written content.
  • Craft copy for digital and offline mediums, including social media, website content, and print materials.
  • Assist with quality control of partner brand written content to ensure adherence to brand voice guidelines.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables independently, gathering feedback from cross-functional teams.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks to ensure successful campaign execution through effective written communication.
  • Ideate and execute ideas from beginning to end in a fast-paced working environment.

You: 

  • At least 6+ years of experience in crafting impactful written campaigns, ideally within a hyper-growth environment.
  • A sharp-eyed, detail-oriented portfolio showcasing your ability to create compelling written content across various platforms.
  • A keen understanding of brand voice and the ability to maintain consistency while pushing creative boundaries, acting as a true brand voice ambassador.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate written concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines and deliverables independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, bringing fresh and innovative written ideas.
  • Experience in crafting copy for digital and offline mediums across multiple touchpoints.
  • Your commitment will be to delivering work of the highest quality while working with team members to constantly develop new ideas and ensure consistency by building frameworks and guidelines. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills
