Job Description

The Copywriter – Invesco QQQ ETF will help support creation, management, and development of our Invesco QQQ Marketing Teammarketing content as we drive awareness, consideration and engagement across our Invesco QQQ ETF Marketing Programs.

This role will help support the team’s breakthrough approaches toward influencing and engaging clients and prospects along the customer journey through digital, social, paid, earned and owned channels. With the distribution landscape changing dramatically and quickly, this role will be essential to the Invesco QQQ Marketing Team, an organization responsible for driving sustainable client demand by transforming the way clients engage with the Invesco QQQ ETF.  This role will work closely with all members of the Invesco QQQ Marketing Team to support content initiatives as they move through the marketing production process, and help drive new from ideation through key stakeholder reviews and distribution, ideation, content creation, key stakeholder reviews, and support all tasks that help meet our business goals of awareness, consideration, engagement and ultimately driving revenue for Invesco QQQ. 

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Partner with the Invesco QQQ Marketing team and directly report to the Manager, QQQ Content Strategy to ideate and craft copy supporting a wide range of marketing initiatives inclusive of creative campaigns, paid search and social, whitepapers, newsletters and more.
  • Work with external partners to make sure Invesco QQQ tone of voice is consistent across all marketing materials
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in how to write for the Invesco QQQ brand
  • Deliver copy in a timely manner, ensuring all approvals have been captured and logged appropriately
  • Help the team bring new ideas to life by helping Invesco QQQ Marketing team’s content projects, gaining exposure to crafting marketing briefs, content creation, approval processes, and learning our analytics and insights gathering process that helps drive our strategy
  • Must exude the passion for storytelling, thrive in a dynamic environment, and possess an enthusiastic willingness to roll up their sleeves to positively influence the client experience and continue to drive engagement with Invesco.
  • Assist Invesco QQQ marketing team with other projects and assignments as required
  • Work with the Compliance, Procurement and Legal teams to ensure all regulatory requirements are being met internally and externally

Qualifications

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/Communications or related field is preferred.
  • 3-5  years of work experience in a Marketing Agency in a marketing, Social Media function social media, Communications, or digital brand related role
  • Knowledge of financial services preferred
  • Interest in and some experience managing projects, working with teams, and a desire to learn more about brand and product marketing

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

  • Must exude a passion for storytelling, thrive in a dynamic environment, and possess an enthusiastic willingness to positively influence the client experience and continue to drive engagement with Invesco QQQ
  • Must be a highly creative thinker who is capable of generating copy consistent with brand voice guidelines for multiple platforms and marketing initiatives
  • Should have familiarity with the various avenues used to reach audiences with content and how to optimize content depending on the platform
  • Must be an enthusiastic self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environment with track record of mobilizing teams in the face of ambiguity and time pressure.
  • Passionate about digital, brand and product marketing
  • Excellent writing, editing and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly creative and innovative
  • Proactive and able to work independently or in a team setting
  • Prior experience in customer service, advertising, public relations or online marketing an asset
  • Experience running brainstorming sessions or desire to learn how to run effective brainstorming sessions
