Overview
Correlation One is seeking an experienced Microsoft Copilot subject matter expert (SME) to support curriculum development for executive and employee training programs. You'll help us craft instructional materials that demonstrate how to drive business value using Copilot across real-world workflows—particularly for knowledge workers in insurance, finance, and operations.

We're designing immersive, role-specific training programs that acknowledge Copilot's strengths and limitations compared to other AI assistants. You'll collaborate with our Learning Experience Design and Product teams to identify use cases, develop activities, and advise on best practices for prompt engineering, troubleshooting common issues, and implementing reliable productivity workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with our team to design scenario-based training content that teaches practical GenAI workflows using Microsoft Copilot
  • Create prompts, task flows, and mini-capstone projects aligned to specific functions (e.g., underwriting, marketing, compliance)
  • Provide technical guidance on Copilot's limitations and workarounds with specific error resolution strategies
  • Help refine hands-on training experiences for our clients, including live demos, error handling guidance, and realistic enterprise use cases
  • Ensure curriculum accurately reflects Copilot behavior across Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Recommend tools and workflows to simulate or support Copilot functionality in a training environment
  • Develop comparative guidance on when to use Copilot versus alternative AI assistants for optimal results

Expected Deliverables

  • 8-10 function-specific use case templates with step-by-step Copilot workflows
  • Troubleshooting guide with 15+ common Copilot errors and their solutions
  • Prompt engineering best practices document tailored to Copilot's implementation
  • 3-5 mini-capstone projects demonstrating end-to-end business processes using Copilot

Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 and/or Copilot Pro
  • Experience across multiple Copilot-enabled apps (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong grasp of prompt engineering, prompt iteration, and output validation techniques
  • Familiarity with Copilot's technical implementation and its limitations compared to other AI platforms
  • Experience designing or advising on enterprise-level GenAI training or enablement programs
  • Ability to articulate tradeoffs, pitfalls, and workarounds when teaching Copilot to a non-technical audience
  • Working knowledge of at least one other major AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT) to enable useful comparisons
  • Bonus: Familiarity with insurance, financial services, or regulated industries

Collaboration Details

  • Weekly sync meetings with Learning Design and Product teams
  • Asynchronous collaboration via shared documents and project management tools
  • Flexible schedule with approximately 10-15 hours per week commitment

To apply, please submit your resume and a brief description of your experience with Microsoft Copilot, including specific use cases you've implemented and challenges you've overcome.
