CPE - Control Project Engineer
As a Controls Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for execution and delivery of the Low-Level Controls for Baggage Handling System projects. You are in the expert on delivering the controls from solution development, through definition, development, documentation, and on-site testing. Together, with your colleagues, you will deliver a state-of-the-art turn-key baggage handling system to our projects.
Job Duties:
- Configure component level devices
- Perform testing in PLC/SCADA commissioning
- Document testing for PLC and SCADA commissioning
- Monitor and document the progress of subcontractors
- Prepare commissioning checklist and test plans.
- Prepare Controls Functional Specification and Description of Operations
- Write, debug, and test PLC/SCADA code
- Interface and coordinate with customers, subcontractors to solve issues, and document resolution
- Lead engineers in the execution of projects
- Lead the onsite effort to configure, commission, and test systems
- Monitor internal quality of controls deliverables
- Lead continuous improvement actions
- Night Work will be required
Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation& Manufacturing, or related field of study
- Experience dealing with software version control
- Strong knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems.
- Working experience in platform Siemens S7 series - must have
- Experience of electrical controls hardware design and communication networks
- Experience of airport or material handling systems preferred
- Good command in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel for short/long term.
