Are you a highly skilled and experienced Control Manager looking for your next career move? Join our HR Control Management team! This team maintains a strong and consistent control environment through a joint accountability model that align managers with each function and region to mitigate operational risk. The team focuses on four areas: Risk Identification & Assessment, Control Design & Evaluation, Issues & Control Deficiencies and Control Governance & Reporting. Control Management serves as an independent function within Human Resources to advise, counsel and assess risk mitigation strategies, in addition to effective evaluation of processes, risks and controls.
As a Vice President within our HR Control Management Team, you will play a key role in implementing the Legal and Regulatory Change Management Forum governance program for Human Resources. Your focus will be on project management and leadership, promoting the evolving risk and control agenda in alignment with our business goals. Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own the implementation of the Legal and Regulatory Change Management Forum governance program within HR, partnering with key stakeholders to align with HR Control Management and HR Products' objectives.
  • Develop and drive a consistent, efficient, and well-organized project management framework, ensuring it is leveraged by the HR Control Management Team across the HR organization.
  • Create and implement effective engagement models and approaches (e.g., Email, Learning Sessions, Workshops) for any new developments to maximize impact and minimize disruption.
  • Collaborate with firm-wide control teams and partners to ensure compliance with control program and process requirements, supporting the business in executing firm-wide control initiatives.
  • Maintain, update, and communicate changes in tools used to manage the program, ensuring alignment with minimum standards.
  • Engage with HR and control colleagues across the firm, including business, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators, and other control functions.
  • Develop and maintain robust reporting, analytics, and scorecards to monitor progress, report status to executives, and manage team effectiveness in achieving Control Management goals.
  • Prepare effective presentations and program update materials for stakeholders and business partners, communicating overall program progress and recommendations.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Project management experience with a proven track record of leading complex projects and transitioning to program management roles.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders, decision-makers, and colleagues to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent organizational, change management, decision-making, problem-solving, continuous improvement, time management, executive communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to assess risk from multiple perspectives (Legal/Regulatory/Operational/Client & Reputational) and engage in meaningful business conversations grounded in materiality and practical application.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to work in a pressure-oriented environment, handling multiple tasks and adjusting priorities quickly.


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in project management within complex organizations and control environments.
  • Relevant financial services experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Product, Policy & Procedures.
  • Experience with intelligent solution/automation tools.
