The Controls Engineer for Cytiva is responsible for managing and maintaining our manufacturing and facilities software and hardware systems.This position is part of the Manufacturing Engineering department located in Duncan, SC and will be an on-site position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you’ll do:

• Provide technical mentorship to users and management for software/hardware related issues and queries
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting functions of relevant hardware and software
• Ability to diagnose problems and carry out calibration/ verification or modification etc.
• Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving service, efficiency and effectiveness of related manufacturing systems
• Lead or provide support to relevant controls-oriented projects

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, their integration with PLC software / hardware as well as familiarity with Rockwell and Omron Application software
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Network Services -LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN
• Experience with design and integration of PLC and SCADA based control system solutions
• Working experience using C/C++/C# Coding, Structured Text, Visual Basic, Sequential Function Chart

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience participating in or leading Kaizen or improvements initiatives.
• Experience leading technical projects
