About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Controller to oversee the budgeting, reporting, and forecasting activities at our Michalovce’s plant. This role is crucial in driving cost-saving initiatives, supporting decision-making through continuous cost analyses, and developing new reporting tools to provide relevant business information to the plant management team.

Your key duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure an active role in identification, implementation and follow-up on cost saving initiatives.
• Support the plant management team in decision-making based on continuous cost analyses.
• Proactively develop new reporting tools and at the same time support the plant management with relevant business information.
• Implementation and follow-up on key performance indicators relevant to the plant.
• An active role from a business analysis point of view in the imminent implementation of SAP.
• Supporting of cross-functional projects, such as product harmonization and sharing of best-practices.
• Annual budgeting process and the quarterly forecasting process.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years in a similar role, preferably within manufacturing environments.
• Understanding and experience with Slovak accounting practices.
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, reliability, and teamwork capability.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with SAP.
• Attention to detail and precision.

Qualifications/Education:

• University degree in Economic Sciences or related fields.

Travel Requirements:

• Very limited.

• Office based position at the Michalovce plant with home office possibilities.
