We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to join our growing startup!
Reporting directly to our VP of Finance, you’ll be at the core of our finance team, handling key accounting tasks and supporting financial operations for our SaaS B2B business. You’ll handle month-end and year-end closings, manage accounts receivable and payable, prepare financial statements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial operations. Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and consolidation tasks.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.
- Support budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable processes to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
- Prepare tax reports for local authorities in Israel and the US and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and report on cash flow, expenses, and revenue trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Graduate of a Big 4 accounting firm, preferably with a high-tech focus.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS, B2B, or startup environment including at least one position in a global SaaS company with U.S. operations.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Excellent computer skills; experience using NetSuite (ERP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential for this role.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
