Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee Accrete’s accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, accounting, and auditing, with excellent leadership skills and a strategic mindset. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and integrity of the company, providing critical financial insights to support our continued growth and success.

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition, and audit readiness.
  • Create and manage invoicing for customers and vendors.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants.
  • Work closely with external auditors and tax advisors.

Qualifications:

  • CPA Certification 
  • Proven working experience as a Controller.
  • SaaS accounting, ASC606 experience 
  • 8+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and discretion in handling financial information.
  • Experience in financial management, with a focus on Payroll 
  • DCAA audit expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management 
  • GAAP accounting experience is a plus 

Salary Range: 150k-200k
