Job Title: Controller

Job Location: Remote

Job Shift: US PST Shift (8 pm-5 am IST)

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, strong expertise in NetSuite (3-5 years), hands-on experience with Bill.com.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all operational accounting functions, optimizing team performance.
• Manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for accurate reporting.
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead client-facing interactions, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to deadlines.
• Perform variance analyses, profit margin analyses, and substantiation of balance sheet accounts.
• Manage controllership functions, including cash flow management and financial audits for US clients.
• Research and document technical accounting issues, providing solutions aligned with US GAAP.
• Utilize NetSuite for accounting operations and drive system integrations.
• Streamline payment workflows using Bill.com and other automation tools.
• Develop and enforce internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to provide strategic financial insights.

Experience and Background

• 10+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on controllership for US-based clients.
• 3-5 years of experience with NetSuite ERP is mandatory.
• Expertise in Bill.com for accounts payable/receivable and workflow automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and related financial reporting requirements.
• Exceptional communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
• Experience managing high-growth, complex accounting environments.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
