About the Role:
Alfa Laval Sourcing operates globally, managing 65% of the cost of goods sold through effective supplier relationship management. We interact with all major Business Units to ensure optimal supplier performance for all our product and service needs. We are a process-oriented organization with a global focus and local presence.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Controller in Global Sourcing and Sustainability, you will partner with other functions in the organization to drive business improvements and change, contributing to both strategic and tactical decisions. You will play a key role in driving insights through analytics and handle customary responsibilities of a Business Controller, such as following up on performance reporting, yearly budget process savings, standard costs, reporting, and providing input to the forecast process. Alfa Laval is on a transformation journey where sourcing and sustainability are key.
- Evaluating the financial implications of various strategic decisions, building scenarios, and recommending actions.
- Supporting the Sustainability transformation with a financial perspective.
- Ensuring accurate financial information to improve commercial and operational processes.
- Contributing to the definition and implementation of the strategy with KPIs to ensure targets are met.
- Leading and participating in strategic and operational transformation projects.
You will work closely with stakeholders in Business Units as well as central functions. The position is based in Lund, and you will report to Søren Hjorth Krarup, Head of Group Controlling and Finance Transformation, with dotted lines to Peter Börjesson, VP Global Sourcing, and Anna Celsing, VP Group Sustainability. You will be a member of the Global Sourcing management team.

You have an open and informal style, making it easy for you to communicate, cooperate, and contribute to a positive team spirit.
What You Know:
We’re looking for a Business Controller with a good strategic understanding and experience working in management teams and supporting business decisions. Experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain or Sustainability is a merit. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in controller work in an international environment, preferable in a manufacturing environment and will excel in cross-cultural relations. You have a university degree in Finance and/or Business Administration and are fluent in English.
