Job Description

Position Summary

You as Finance Controller India will be responsible for full finance planning and analysis to support the India businesses to grow sustainably and profitably. Reporting to both the Directors, Finance AP, you will be part of India Business leadership team and the Asia Pacific Finance leadership team. You will work and collaborate with the India leadership team in laying down business strategies and ensuring its execution. You will ensure accuracy of Annual Operating Plans, Quarterly forecasts and driving productivity in the sub-region to ensure spend control. You will also collaborate with the India and AP Accounting and tax teams that report centrally to ensure accuracy of monthly and yearly financial statements. A key function for you will be to find opportunities for continuous improvement and simplification, provide value-added analysis to business and finance management in the region.

You have tenured performance and solid accounting, business planning experience. You have experience managing cross functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders. If you have experience of handling of mergers and acquisitions, it will be an added advantage.

You will have a hybrid schedule working in Rockwell India corporate office in Gurgaon.

Responsibilities

• You will work closely across the finance organization to ensure accurate financials and forecast
• You will lead quarterly Business review process and work closely with country business and sales leadership
• You will provide strong business partnering, decision support and contribute to Sub-regional and BU leadership teams around business planning, forecasting and execution to improve performance
• You will provide insights of risks and opportunities based on solid understanding of financial performance and business trend
• You will ensure proper compliance with local statutory and tax regulations
• You will recommend and initiate the implementation of value-add process improvements
• You will participate in ad hoc projects/presentation

Requirements

• You are Chartered accountant 10 - 15+ years or more in financial planning field with sizable Multi-National Companies with at least 5 years in senior leadership team.
• You have strong knowledge of US and Indian GAAPs
• You have some knowledge of Indian tax system.
• You have strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• You possess and advocate compliance mindset
• You have experience managing a cross-cultural team
• You have experience communicating analytical findings for a range of different audiences
• You possess strong business acumen
• You have experience distilling financial analyses for leadership teams and able to work
• You have advanced MS Office skills in Excel, PowerPoint.
• You have excellent IT knowledge (i.e. EPM, SAP or other ERP)
