Qualification and abilities
- Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical or Computer Engineering (higher technical level)
- Experience in maintaining cluster servers, databases, network and communications systems and software related automated baggage handling systems or automated systems in material handling industries.
- Experience in maintaining WinCC (for SCADA), Web factory (for SCADA), Siemens PLC S7 (low level controls), Quality applications (process intelligence applications), Barcode Scanners & PLC Interfacing with X-ray monitoring system
- Excellent verbal and oral skills in English language
- Experience with analysing process flows

Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of system software
- Maintain all site hardware and software
- Contact point with headquarter IT departments and control support
- IT configuration management
- Change management on control level
- Initiate and execute improvement actions
- Monitor hardware, software, network performances
- Solve problems
- Maintain and archive releases, versions and updates
- Implement software updates and patches
- First & Second line support on site
- Hardware, software, cluster servers, databases, network and communication systems related to the automated handling system as scoped in service contract.
- Hands on controls management on site.
- Decreases response time when controls appear to have problems.
- Solve unique but definite problems.
- Offers professional arguments as the basis for making choices and for convincing the people concerned.
- Improvement of work processes calls for attention continuously.
- Acts as major contributor to process improvements.
- Develop, maintain and improve methods to gain and use relevant performance data
