Job Description
Engineer will be involved in engineering, Commissioning of PLC/ASRS/Loopsorter system and field wiring for projects in material handling (Airports, Warehousing and Parcel). He will be part of on-site commissioning.
Interact with Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Site Installation team, R&D team, Project leader engineering to ensure proper engineering & commissioning of material handling systems.
Provide timely & complete site progress reports.
Support knowledge sharing, process improvement.
Core Task:
Project Engineering and Commissioning Experience
Siemens/Allen Bradley PLC systems
Experienced in HMI and SCADA systems.
Able to read & understand electrical layouts & Wiring Diagrams.
Practical Knowledge Electrical cabinet & field wiring on site.
Practical knowledge of I/O bus systems (ASI, Profibus, Profinet, Fibre Optic, Can Bus, Ethernet)
Electrical knowledge and practical hands-on experience in Power and Control systems including Cabinets, Field Materials (sensors, motor, Frequency Drive, etc.)
Configure hardware, Frequency drives and perform I/O test on site.
Perform Cabinet FAT, SAT, ISAT & various test using (e.g., Megger, HV test).
Test and supervise installation of electrical components and handover system commissioning.
Is able to work height.
Willing to travel extensively (80%) and be able to work in multicultural environment.
Skill Set:
Knowledge of electrical / electronic equipment (e.g. Motor, drives, sensors, electrical protection).
Basic knowledge of Power, Control systems.
Basic knowledge of industrial automation with PLC.
Basic knowledge of field bus (e.g., Profibus, Profinet, Asi-Bus, Can-Bus).
Basic knowledge of communication protocols (e.g. Modbus, TCP/IP)
