As a Controls Management Associate in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm. You will be responsible for monitoring controls, ensuring compliance with firm-wide standards, and supporting the implementation of control frameworks. This role demands strong analytical skills, effective
communication, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead and sustain the team through demonstration of the expectations and capabilities that continues to meet
the business demands, regulatory challenges, adaptable to change and growth while driving efficiencies - Develop and maintain centralized controls reporting, ensuring consistency with global standards.
- Support the implementation and governance of the Control Framework.
- Partner with global teams to deliver high-quality data and governance material.
- Drive process improvements and automation using tools like Alteryx and Tableau.
- Monitor and report on control activities, ensuring high-quality data and compliance with regulations.
- Support ad-hoc MIS requests and perform post-implementation validation.
- Collaborate with global teams to deliver timely and accurate MIS and governance materials.
- Identify and address control gaps, risks, and propose improvements.
- Lead and participate in meetings, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive process improvements
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with global teams.
- Ability to function effectively under tight deadlines and adapt to changing environments.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of Controls organization and exposure to firmwide regulations.
- Experience in process improvement and operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of controls and their application to business processes.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently and think strategically.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of financial services experience, preferably in controls, risk management, or
related functions. - Experience in Banking Risk and Control domains.
- Knowledge of data analytical tools like Alteryx and Tableau is an advantage.
- Proven track record in process transformation and automation.
- Experience in operational risk and control processes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Flexibility to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
