The incumbent will be responsible for handling of Process automation and upgradations.
Job Description
Process Design and Optimization:
- Develop and implement automation strategies to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Analyze existing processes to identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Maintenance of injectable equipment and automation activities.
Project Management:
- Lead automation projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical support for automated systems and resolve any issues that arise.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance of automation systems.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all automation processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed documentation of processes, changes, and improvements.
Training and Development:
- Train staff on new automation technologies and processes.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance team skills.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation or Electrical related field).
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in process automation, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in automation technologies and software (e.g., PLC, SCADA, DCS).
- Strong understanding of process control systems and instrumentation.
- Calibration and automation expertise.
- Handling of Automation projects and upgradations
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Ability to analyze complex processes and develop effective automation solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to address technical issues promptly.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Regulatory Knowledge:
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to process automation.
