Supports Director of Operations in the management and operations of the contract management system, preparation of legal documents, and assisting with general administrative duties in support of the legal department.

  • Maintenance of a centralized file, storage and documentation system for all contract-related material (legal, compliance and finance responsibilities) changes, and status reports.
  • Compares contracts and agreements to previous drafts to prepare for execution and finalization.
  • Coordinates and participates in preparation of status reports, including management of internal priority lists and hosting weekly prioritization sessions.
  • Communicates with internal stakeholders on status of contract drafts and internal projects.
  • Dissemination of contract documents to the appropriate parties, externally and internally.
  • Manages electronic document signature system.
  • Monitors regulatory updates for escalation to Director of Operations, Assistant General Counsel, or General Counsel.
  • Assists in development and implementation of office systems and procedures as needed.
  • Assists with special projects as assigned.
  • Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing as needed.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelors’ degree (B.A.) or equivalent, three to five years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years relevant experience working in contract management or legal department, or a law firm or handling contracts in the purchasing department
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient on Microsoft product suite, including but not limited to Word, SharePoint, Excel, and OneNote, DocuSign, Adobe Sign, and general contract management software.
