Job Description
Summary
The Contracts Analyst follows the outlined policies and procedures governing the Contracts Management Group. The main goal of this position is to mitigate financial and business risk by ensuring the processing and execution of customer contracts is compliant with established policies and procedures, including internal accounting reviews and ordering Certificates of Insurance. This role (1) Corresponds with internal and external customers on a routine basis, reviewing and preparing contract documentation timely and efficiently to support the business and its operations (2) Provides field support with external customer’s insurance compliance requests, and (3) Collaborates with the Contracts team on other ancillary duties or ad hoc projects.
This role provides a hybrid work arrangement*, involving three days of the in-person presence at our Daytona Beach office each week.
* During the training period, a greater onsite presence will be necessary.
Essential Functions
Drive compliance with Customer Contracts Policies and Procedures
- Process customer contracts review requests effectively and efficiently by attaching addendums or redlining agreements within service levels.
- Order Certificates of Insurance in accordance with contractual requirements and Risk Management Guidelines.
- Provide complete and timely responses to internal and external requests for information.
- Support the insurance renewal process in partnership with Risk Management.
Collaborate Effectively Across Organization
- Communicate regularly with team members to coordinate work flow and keep tasks on schedule.
- Respond effectively to inquiries and correspondence with internal and external customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers that facilitate risk mitigation while maintaining business relationships.
- Support Operations and Risk Management with Customer Pre-Qualification and OCIP Enrollment, as needed.
Contribute to Best Practices and Continuous Improvement
- Identify gaps in current processes and procedures and develop and implement solutions.
- Maintain a basic understanding of contract law and industry practices.
- Maintain flexibility in order to comply with new and evolving processes and procedures.
Role Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Associates Degree Course of Study –Business or Risk Management
- Preferred – Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS)
Legal Age Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
Experience
- 1-3 Years in Contract Review preferred
- Customer Service shared services environment, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting boxes or packages under 10 lbs., and sitting for long periods of time.
Work requires regularly inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.
