ABOUT THIS ROLE
Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and delivery-focused Contractor, Technical Project Management Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a role in driving successful project execution within our technology group, leveraging their expertise in Agile frameworks, project management tools, and large-scale PMO processes to deliver results in a dynamic and high-growth environment.
This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage complex, multi-staged projects and will serve as a key contributor to process improvement, aligning with organisational goals and objectives in a financial services setting.
Duties/Responsibilities

Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments utilising Jira and Confluence extensively for project tracking, documentation, and team collaboration.

Apply Agile metrics, including velocity, cycle time, burndown charts, and custom dashboards, to monitor progress and optimise performance.

Demonstrate deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.

Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and reviews, to drive team alignment and delivery.

Foster clear, timely, and transparent communication across teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and priorities.

Promote continuous improvement leading productive and goal-oriented meetings, driving stakeholder engagement and collaboration.

Ensure project execution is aligned with business objectives, adhering to agreed timelines and deliverables.

Take full ownership and accountability for assigned projects, driving meaningful and measurable outcomes.

Leverage experience working in large-scale Project Management Office (PMO) environments, effectively managing multiple teams, competing priorities and operational scalability.

Balance hands-on execution and strategic planning to align with enterprise objectives.
Education and/or Experience
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) required

5+ years of project management experience, specifically in a financial services environment.

Proven track record of managing multi-staged, complex projects.

Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PRINCE2, or Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred

Familiarity with project and portfolio management tools and proficient in their application (specifically the Atlassian suite of tools) preferred
