Strava is growing, and we are looking for a Contract Technical Recruiter to help us identify, assess, and hire the best talent who want to make an impact in health and fitness technology. The right candidate is able to successfully manage, prioritize, and close searches against a timeline. You will be partnering with various hiring managers in Engineering, Product, and Design, globally to build impactful teams that embody Strava’s values and culture. This is a contract role (min 3-6 months).

Compensation for this role is between $60.00-$70.00 per hour.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:
- Manage candidates through the full recruitment life cycle
- Build talent pipelines for multiple requisitions, taking the time to ensure we’ve built a strong and diverse candidate pool
- Coach managers to align with our commitments to DEI before completing a search
- Build credibility and relationships with hiring managers, understanding team structures and styles
- Run searches and engage with passive candidates via LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms
- Source qualified candidates, review resumes, and pre-screen candidates while moving the interview process forward in a timely manner
- Work with the Talent team to provide positive and exceptional interview experiences for candidates and the hiring team
- Actively work on talent projects that positively impact the overall Strava organization
We’re excited about you because you have:
- 4+ years of technical recruiting experience (in-house recruiting and/or with a search firm) across multiple time zones
- Experience recruiting engineers (backend, mobile, data), product managers, and designers
- Extensive experience creating dynamic sourcing strategies with or without the use of LinkedIn Recruiter (including advanced Boolean search techniques, X-Ray, etc.)
- Baseline knowledge of programming languages, web and emerging technologies
- A positive, open-minded approach and are excited to learn and contribute with a team
- Committed to learning about antiracism and supporting Strava’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts
- A sincere understanding of the importance of building rapport with active and passive candidates of all levels
- Exposure to Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse preferred)
- Experience in building and managing a diverse pipeline, aligning with our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Exceptional organizational skills, with attention to detail and great follow-through
- Proficient with Google Suite of Tools inclusive of Mail, Calendar, Sheets, etc. and/or similar technology
- Self-sufficient and able to work in a very fast-paced working environment
