WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Coordinates activities and timelines for contract projects. Evaluates status of all existing outstanding contract projects to expedite contract completion.
- Facilitating Contract Negotiations Facilitates communications with Franciscan coworkers and vendors during contract negotiations to gather and disseminate information. Facilitates and participates in internal meetings with Franciscan coworkers and external meetings with vendors during the contract negotiation process.
- Documentation Manages and revises contract and Request for Contract templates and associated evaluative documents.
- Contract Records Management Retains fully executed original copies of contracts in a physical file system. Enters data regarding contracts into the contract management database and summarizes contract documents to support contract administration and future handling of contract renewal or termination.
- Reviewing Contract Revisions Reviews vendor response to proposed contract revisions and redlines. Advises contract review group and facilitates response meeting. Prepares any additional revisions to the proposed contract and submits to the vendor.
- Preparing Final Contracts Reviews final contract drafts for accuracy. Prepares contracts for signature by the appropriate officer and countersignature by vendors.
- Request for Contract Review Reviews initial Request for Contract documentation. Evaluates all materials submitted to determine, locate, and assemble additional information requirements to support contract request.
- Proposed Contract and Document Review Reviews proposed contracts and related documents. Prepares comments or redlines with initial preliminary revisions. Submits comments and redlines to contract review group. Prepares revisions to the proposed agreement and submits to the vendor.
Qualifications
- Required High School Diploma/GED
- Preferred 3 years of experience in Contracts
- Preferred Certified Paralegal License
- Preferred Associate's Degree
