SCOPE:
As a Contract Recruiter for UAIC, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and attracting exceptional candidates who align with our company culture and values. You will work closely with hiring managers and HR professionals to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies that contribute to the success of our organization. This role requires strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with a deep understanding of recruitment best practices and industry trends. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, combining remote work with occasional in-person collaboration sessions.
DUTIES:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, project requirements, and desired candidate profiles.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the skills, experience, and qualifications needed for successful project execution.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to the project's specific requirements.
  • Utilize a combination of sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and employee referrals, to attract qualified candidates.
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques to identify potential candidates who meet the project's requirements.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, experience, skills, and cultural fit for the project.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, arrange panel interviews, and facilitate the interview process.
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient interview experience for both candidates and interviewers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure all recruitment-related documentation, including resumes, interview notes, and feedback, is properly recorded and organized.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers on recruitment progress, candidate pipeline, and key recruitment metrics.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to analyze recruitment data and make data-driven decisions to optimize the recruitment process.
  • Assist with the negotiation and offer process, including salary discussions, benefits packages, and contract preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements throughout the offer and onboarding process.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates and maintain open communication to address any concerns or questions.


EDUCATION:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience as a recruiter or talent acquisition specialist, preferably in the property and casualty insurance industry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools/software.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
