We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contract and Compliance Specialist to manage and oversee contract management and compliance activities across Poland, Ukraine, and the Baltic States. In the role you will support the sales company with assistance in reviewing and negotiating sales contracts, tenders, purchase contracts and non-disclosure agreements.
You will ensure that compliance matters are handled actively in areas such as data protection, export control, business principles and corporate policies, and you will communicate with external stakeholders on compliance related matters in a professional way.
Key responsibilities:
- Support with the review of sales contracts, quotes and purchase contracts including Incoterms to ensure compliance with minimum contract standards
- Support with the review of NDAs to ensure compliance with corporate best practices
- Escalating operational, legal, and regulatory risks
- Coordinating with Group Legal, Group Compliance and Group Risk and Insurance
- Data privacy champion/diligence
- Export control super user
- Alfa Laval business principles diligence
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in reviewing and negotiating complex contracts in a technical/industrial company with international customers
- In-depth knowledge of contract law, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements in Poland, Ukraine, and the Baltic States
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Polish, Ukrainian, or any Baltic languages is an advantage
- Robust commercial acumen, proactively initiating actions to leverage your expertise for significant business impact. Your high level of integrity is complemented by a confident assurance in your competence and the value you contribute as a business partner.
