Overview of the role:

We are looking for a proactive Content & SEO Coordination Manager with a passion for sports betting and gaming to join our team at iBus Media. 

In this role, you’ll own both the creative side (writing and editing) and the strategic side (SEO alignment and workflow coordination) at a manager level. 

iBus Media is an online marketing agency that supports several global brands under the Flutter umbrella, providing services that include content, design, development, and SEO. 

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

What you’ll do 

• Lead end‑to‑end content creation: Produce and refine SEO‑friendly articles, news stories, and guides - and ensure every piece aligns with our keyword strategy to improve search visibility. 

• Coordinate content workflows: Identify content needs, recruit/onboard freelance writers, assign work, and manage deadlines via our CMS and project tools to guarantee timely, high‑quality delivery. 

• Publish and organize content: Use various Content Management Systems (CMSs) to upload and format articles, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and editorial standards. 

• Monitor projects and deadlines: Update project boards and employ project management tools to keep track of content initiatives, deadlines, priorities, and overall progress. 

• Establish and monitor QA processes: Define editorial checklists, style guidelines, and proofing routines; conduct regular audits of published content for consistency and brand compliance. 

• Research and ideation: Stay current on industry trends, competitor strategies, and SEO best practices to develop fresh content ideas that engage our audience. 

• Report to stakeholders: Compile and present regular reports on project progress, content performance, and key metrics to internal collaborators, ensuring transparency and alignment on strategy. 

• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with editors, designers, and the SEO/marketing team to align content with overall brand and marketing objectives. 

What you’ll bring 

• Content & SEO Expertise: Proven writing experience with a portfolio of clear, engaging, SEO‑optimized content, plus a solid grasp of on‑page SEO, keyword research, and performance standard methodologies. 

• Workflow Coordination: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, streamline workflows, onboard and oversee freelance contributors, and leverage project tools (e.g., AirTable, Trello, Asana, Jira). 

• CMS proficiency: Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress or similar) and basic HTML editing. 

• Analytical & Strategic Orientation: Comfortable using Google Analytics, Search Console, or similar tools to compile metrics, draw insights, and make data‑driven recommendations that refine content strategy. 

• Attention to detail: Experience defining and enforcing editorial standards and QA processes (style guides, checklists, proofing routines) to ensure consistent, high‑quality output. 

• Adaptability: Able to adjust quickly when priorities change and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. 

• Excellent communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate with remote freelancers and cross‑functional teams, influence without direct authority, and drive projects forward. 

• Stakeholder Reporting & Collaboration: Experience in compiling performance metrics and delivering project updates to various internal collaborators to ensure transparency and strategic alignment. 

Preferred qualifications 

• Experience in the sports betting or gaming industry: Familiarity with sports betting, gaming, iGaming, or related media environments. 

• Content project leadership: Demonstrated success in owning editorial calendars, coordinating and mentoring freelance writers, and delivering projects on time and on budget. 

• Project management tools: Hands-on experience with tools such as AirTable, Trello, Asana, or Jira for tracking tasks, deadlines, and workflow progress. 

• SEO analytics: Practical experience using Google Analytics, Search Console, or equivalent platforms to monitor performance, derive insights, and iterate on content strategy. 

• Stakeholder communication: Experience in preparing and presenting reports on project outcomes and content performance to internal stakeholders, supporting transparent decision-making.
