We're looking for an SEO Link Building Strategist who can transform content into a pipeline-generating engine through methodical link building strategies and targeted outreach campaigns.

  • Design and implement comprehensive backlink acquisition strategies that deliver measurable organic traffic and revenue impact
  • Build targeted outreach campaigns to secure high-quality, topically relevant backlinks
  • Create data-driven roadmaps to improve domain authority, close link gaps, and boost organic rankings
  • Own the end-to-end content promotion process from initial analysis, to strategy to managing a dedicated team of link prospectors and outreach managers all the way to backlink acquisition
  • Work together with our SEO team to create and develop holistic client strategies for maximum results.

Core ResponsibilitiesStrategic Link Building Leadership (40%)

  • Manage and mentor a team of link prospectors and outreach specialists
  • Lead backlink strategy planning for 4-5 enterprise B2B SaaS client accounts
  • Drive campaign development based on competitive link gap analysis
  • Set and monitor link acquisition KPIs and quality standards
  • Ensure consistent outreach quality and communication across all accounts

Technical SEO & Link Analysis (30%)

  • Perform comprehensive backlink audits to identify link gaps and opportunities
  • Analyze topical relevance patterns to determine ideal link types and anchor text
  • Develop and optimize strategic outreach templates and processes
  • Guide technical implementation of advanced link building tactics
  • Build scalable systems for link prospecting and quality assessment

Client Success & Reporting (30%)

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of 3-5 enterprise B2B SaaS clients
  • Present link acquisition performance metrics tied to organic traffic growth
  • Lead strategic planning sessions and quarterly business reviews
  • Proactively identify and communicate link building opportunities

  • Excel at analyzing link profile gaps and creating targeted backlink acquisition strategies
  • Have a proven track record of securing high-quality backlinks through white hat methods
  • Understand the nuances of link quality beyond Domain Authority (topical relevance, page authority, anchor text optimization)
  • Get energized by analyzing backlink data and finding quick-win opportunities
  • Love optimizing link building processes and creating scalable outreach systems
  • Stay ahead of SEO trends and Google's evolving link evaluation algorithms

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of technical SEO experience with at least 2 years focused specifically on link building
  • Proven track record of securing high-quality backlinks through white hat outreach methods
  • Experience with link gap analysis, competitor backlink profiling, and topical relevance assessment
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO factors and how backlinks influence rankings
  • Experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, or Majestic for backlink analysis
  • Deep knowledge of search intent and how content promotion affects organic rankings
  • Track record of driving measurable traffic and ranking improvements through strategic link acquisition
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple enterprise client relationships effectively
