About The Role
The Content Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in helping Avado connect with current and prospective learners through engaging, high-quality content. This entry-level role is ideal for a creative graduate with a strong eye for brand-aligned copy, a passion for storytelling, and an interest in using data and technology to measure and improve results.
The role strikes a balance between creative asset creation and technical execution, including SEO optimisation and data-driven strategies, and digital marketing best practice, to ensure content delivers measurable results and aligns with business objectives.

What you’ll do
To help us be the best, you will be accountable for:
- Content Creation & Writing
- Writing engaging, on-brand content, including blogs, social media posts, newsletters, and website copy tailored to Avado's learners and professional audience.
- Using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) and creative platforms like Canva and CapCut to craft impactful written, visual and video content.
- Editing and refining content to align with Avado’s tone and voice, ensuring it resonates with target audiences.
- Content Strategy & Optimisation
- Optimising blogs and web content for SEO to increase organic traffic and visibility.
- Developing social media posts that align with current trends, engage audiences, and reinforce Avado’s leadership in professional qualifications.
- Repurposing and adapting content for platforms such as Avado Connect (our community platform) and webinar promotions, ensuring consistency and maximum engagement.
- Promoting campaigns such as webinar events and related content to drive awareness, registrations, and interaction among target audiences.
- Collaboration & Growth Marketing
- Collaborating with the Marketing Manager, tech team, and sales team to create growth marketing mechanisms that integrate engaging content with lead capture tools (e.g., gated content, forms, and landing pages).
- Assisting in campaigns that build awareness, drive leads, and support Avado’s revenue and growth goals.
- Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Tracking and analysing the performance of content using tools such as Google Analytics (training provided).
- Applying insights to refine strategies and improve results, ensuring content delivers value to learners and the business.
- Staying curious and continuously learning about trends in content marketing, analytics, and digital platforms.
What we’re looking for
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
- Previous internship or freelance experience in content creation, social media, or marketing is a plus.
- Skills & Traits
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong eye for brand voice and messaging.
- Proficiency or familiarity with Social Media platforms and creative tools like Canva, CapCut, or similar and an interest in marketing trends.
- Interest in using AI tools for content creation and optimisation.
- Analytical mindset with a willingness to learn data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot). We will provide support for this.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, social media trends, or professional platforms.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Bonus (Not Required)
- Exceptional social media experience or specialisation in a key channel such as SEO, TikTok, email marketing
- Certifications or training in platforms like Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar tools. Training and support on these will be provided.
