This role is for someone obsessed with creating financial content that goes viral. We are looking to make dub's content game world-class, and that starts with creating financial content relevant to our product, is educational for existing and potential customers, and instantly captures someone's attention. 

This role is like water - you will be expected to create content across multiple formats, from newsletters to short-form video to static content posts. There's probably a lot we haven't thought of, and you should be excited to make it your life's mission to create the most valuable financial content about dub.

No finance background is needed, but it will help you quickly create content relevant to dub. Anyone who cares enough can quickly pick up the basic skills needed to talk sensibly about what we need. 

The best part? You'll be joining the fastest-growing consumer fintech there is - we just crossed top #40 in the Apple App Store charts and we are in rocketship growth mode. Your impact today in this role will be massive. And you'll work very closely with our CEO, who leads marketing. 

Location: In person in our NYC Offices (FiDi)

Hours: Full-time, Salaried (potentially open to PT Contractor work)

Expected Experience: 0-5 Years

Pay: $40-80K based on previous experience and technical capabilities in addition to generous equity. Everyone at dub is a shareholder of the company.

Start Date: ASAP

Qualifications

  • Incredible work ethic & grit - you'll need to create content at all times during the week, especially around current events that may happen on weekends
  • Obsession with creating valuable and viral content
  • Strong, concise writing skills
  • Ability to work with basic photo and design editors like Figma, Photoshop, Canva
  • You've done some form of finance content creation before (i.e. written a newsletter or published an analyst report at a bank)
  • Passion for investing & finance
  • You enjoy the social media space and understanding the ever-evolving algos


Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and write the dub financial newsletter and our email marketing content every week
  • Conceptualize and create static and video content daily based on dub's product, portfolios on the app, current events, and more
  • Create content on weekends when needed to react to current events or to capture relevant opportunities
  • Be comfortable appearing in dub's social content
  • Launch content on dub's social media's (Instagram, X, Reddit)
  • Collaborate with compliance to build a process for content approval
  • Manage any responses to content from customers and social media
  • Explore building a finance community for dub on Reddit & Discord
  • Monitor competitors to see how we can adapt techniques for dub
  • Stay up-to-date on new social media tools, content techniques, and best practices
  • Innovate, innovate, innovate. Think outside of the box for new content ideas!
