KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate and help in creating daily content for social channels this would include but not limited to intermediate animation, static photos, and graphics.
  • Partnering with a copywriter to create compelling organic and paid social, sms, email, and eComm creative that resonate with guests
  • Film, edit, and caption short-form videos for TikTok & Instagram Reels (at least through an Iphone)
  • Capture behind-the-scenes and in-store content to showcase Buff’s handmade, customizable products
  • Assist with product photoshoots and seasonal campaign creative
  • Understand and convey Buff’s point of difference: handmade in-store, customizable scents, clean ingredients
  • Participate in brainstorms from packaging design to campaigns to naming products
  • Support other interdepartmental design requests as well as request from franchisees for local marketing initiatives
  • Work on any task and help solve problems — be humble and scrappy
  • Incorporate changes recommended by franchisees and project owners into final designs
  • Review designs for errors before sending to external vendors or internal partners to publish
  • Communication with franchisees and project owners regarding revisions, file prep, and timelines.


BASIC & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience (1+ years) as a Graphic Designer or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication or a related field required
  • Proven experience with short-form video platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
  • Strong skills within Adobe Creative Suite - Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (After Effects, canva, and capcut is a plus)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design projects, showcasing creativity, technical skills, and an eye for detail
  • Experience working with UGC (User-Generated Content) is a plus
  • Agency experience (internship or full-time) is a plus
  • Familiarity with plant-based and clean beauty markets is a plus
  • On set experience preferred via product staging, propping, and extra hands on set.
  • Mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint including layouts, animations, templates, and using PowerPoints to tell a coherent story
  • Willingness to deliver on quick turnaround requests
  • Passion for learning new techniques to continue to push the brand and create innovative designs.
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
  • High levels of attention to detail.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & TRAVEL

  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing for extended periods
  • Ability to use a computer and other office equipment for extended periods
  • Travel: Rarely (Less than 10%), locally
