Job Description
The Consumer and Products Researcher plays a key role in uncovering consumer insights, executing product studies, and driving innovation. This role involves collaborating with multi-functional teams to develop new ideas, benefits visualizations, and demos that enhance brand offerings. A strong understanding of market trends and consumer behaviors, along with 2-5 years of experience in FMCG or market/product research, is preferred.
Your team:
Located at P&G Mumbai, you will be part of the product research team in Fem Care organization. You will have the opportunity to work in multi-functional teams and R&D teams based in global innovation centres. In this role, you will also engage with both internal and external partners.
What success looks like:
Over time, you will become a Products Research specialist with expertise in the Fem Care category.

Contribute to the planning and execution of a broad range of technical tests, can summarize these tests independently, and make correlations to in-depth observations

Communicates results clearly and concisely to manager/coach/co-workers and other team resources.

Takes personal ownership for assigned work and demonstrates confidence in data, results, and recommendations.

Proficient at leveraging technical knowledge, infrastructure, and insights to optimize the experimentation.

Job Responsibility
Responsible for the day-to-day preparation and execution of standard technical characterization and routine consumer research study placement. Onboards to the range of PR systems including data analysis, SMART, ePADEx and Claims Manager, and becomes knowledgeable in the requirements for study release, as well as proper documentation of work. Key responsibilities include:

Execute, and analyze consumer insights and claims' tests results

Lead product technical study in the labs and consumer studies

Understand consumer needs and work with multi-functional teams to develop new ideas and demos to delight our consumers

Partner with senior researchers & technologists to develop and test out prototypes

Capture key insights and technical findings from research projects and share results & recommendations in a clear succinct manner
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or related fields.
- 2-5 years' related experience in FMCG or field of Market/Product research preferred.
- Strong ownership & self-leadership to understand the business objective, local context, and business landscape to deliver the required outcomes.
- Adequate oral and written communication skills in English for common business are a must.
- Able to work independently, prioritize and perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and uses data to connect multiple ideas and develop solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with people from different cultures and levels, both internally and externally.
