Eligibility: Students enrolled in the Master of Public Policy (MPP) programme, Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford with existing right to work in UK.

Overview: Join a global team dedicated to delivering real, measurable impact in the public and social sectors. As an intern at Delivery Associates, you will work closely with governments and impact organizations to help drive the implementation of priority initiatives.

About Delivery Associates (DA): Delivery Associates is a global social impact consultancy specializing in transforming the public sector. We help governments and social impact organizations turn ambitious goals into an everyday reality for the people they serve. At the heart of what we do is the methodology: Deliverology®, the evolving science of getting things done in the public and social sectors. We use our expertise—strategic planning, delivery and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, digital solutions, and strategic communications—to build the capacity of our partners to deliver at every stage of the implementation life cycle, both with us and beyond us.

Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated and curious intern to join our UK-based consulting team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to contribute to a multinational public sector project and experience firsthand how we support governments to deliver better results. Your role will include supporting project delivery, building capability within the public sector, and contributing to data-informed decision-making that leads to tangible improvements in the lives of citizens.

You will engage with local governments, clients, and partners to support planning, track progress, and help resolve implementation challenges. You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to internal work and research that supports our broader impact goals.

Positioning within the team

  • Delivery Associates try to build and foster an inclusive culture that is underpinned by trust, respect and humility regardless of role or level of seniority. As such, the intern will be invited to join team related activities and routines such as weekly team meetings and informal team-building activities, while also recognizing that the intern may have competing priorities outside of the internship.
  • Delivery Associates will make efforts to ensure interns have support in place from the start, including an assigned 'buddy', as well as facilitating regular in-person connections where practicable.

 Responsibilities

  • Shadowing Delivery Associates teams on key meetings, including those with clients where appropriate. Examples include:
  • Regular client check-ins on project delivery (online)
  • Workshops with clients and key partners to progress delivery of a project (online)
  • Delivery Associates team meetings and internal routines (online)
  • Supporting Delivery Associates' teams in the research for and development of products and deliverables as part of internal and client work. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Researching background information on clients, partners, specific sectors and/or best practices in other jurisdictions.
  • Researching background information to identify opportunities for Delivery Associates to expand and deepen its impact in the region.
  • Helping to design slides to be used to engage a client
  • Conducting research to inform the development of reports for clients.
  • Drafting correspondence and communications to engage clients.
  • Helping to develop internal documents that support the team's operations
