About the role:
Ogilvy Consulting is the Business Transformation, Brand Strategy and Innovation consultancy within the Ogilvy Group. We help clients including Nestlé, Facebook, HSBC and LEGO answer tough questions about how to grow through business transformation, brand strategy and innovation platforms. We are now in our seventh year in the UK and EMEA and have just been named a Financial Times UK leading Management Consultancy for the fifth consecutive year.
It’s an exciting time to be joining Ogilvy Consulting. We’re growing and we’re looking for a Consulting Analyst to work across our diverse set of projects and practices.
Our Consulting Analysts have one-to-three years of experience in consulting or client-side strategy roles or have recently earned a relevant degree. They bring a curiosity and passion to everything they do as well as a unique blend of creative thinking, strategic depth, and analytical skills. Most of all, they have decided that while consulting is a path they want to pursue, they want to do it in a place that brings business, marketing and brand transformation together with creativity and execution. Our Consulting Analysts begin as generalists and work across projects in Brand & Marketing Strategy, Business Transformation, Sustainability and Behavioural Science. Over your time as an Analyst, you’ll have the exposure across our practices to begin thinking about where you will specialise as you evolve and advance through your career.
Our Consulting Analysts bring a curiosity and passion for brand, business and marketing strategy along with behavioural science and sustainability. They demonstrate a blend of strategic, analytical, creative and human-centric mindsets with a strong grasp of data analytics. They have developed a degree of specialisation and/or strong interest across a few of the following disciplines: Brand research and analysis, customer segmentation, system 1 research design and facilitation, brand valuation, business and brand opportunity assessment, business and brand mission, vision, purpose and positioning, brand architecture and identity, brand experience, product and service design, organisational design, AI, advisory, culture and change management, employee branding, foresight, rends and innovation. They are significant contributors to the business, brand, marketing and innovation strategies that we deliver to clients.

Key responsibilities for the role:
- Conducting data gathering and analytics
- Using AI tools to perform desk research & analysing industry and competitor trends
- Qualitative and quantitative analysis, distillation and key point extraction
- Designing, conducting and analysing market research
- Participating in growth conversations with existing and prospective clients
- Supporting in the development of business and brand growth strategies and solutions
- Taking ownership of client deliverables and presentations with a strong visual clarity and strategic rigor
- Development of and participation in client workshops
- Contributing to and managing new business proposals and pitches
- Conducting competitor analyses that deliver unique insights
- Representing and maintaining the Ogilvy Consulting standard of excellence through a combination of ‘intelligence and imagination’
- Contributing to thought leadership
- Actively contributing to the unique culture of Ogilvy Consulting and monthly team meetings
- Encouraging collaboration across Ogilvy and WPP
Skills and Attributes:
- 1-3 years of experience in a consultancy, client strategy position or equivalent strategic role in professional services specialising in brand or business transformation, psychology or behavioural science
- A strong grasp of and comfort with data
- A fascination with understanding people and working with them internally and externally to solve problems creatively
- Adept at framing problems, developing solution hypotheses, and identifying creative paths to growth
- Able to draw critical human and cultural insights from data and observation
- Strong business, marketing and brand acumen and critical thinking skills
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to take initiative and to work independently and within a team
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, especially in high-pressure situations
- Strong work ethic with superior attention to detail
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint, Keynote a plus , as well as fan eagerness to learn and use AI-powered platforms
- A curiosity and energy that allows you to adopt a can-do attitude to every challenge and initiative
