KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Finance Systems & Project Management Consultant is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of finance-related systems. This role ensures data accuracy, system integration, and process efficiency while supporting finance reporting, system uplift, and user training. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to drive finance transformation initiatives.
Finance System Implementation & Maintenance:

Lead and support the implementation of finance-related systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

Maintain and manage finance systems, ensuring seamless operation and integration with other enterprise systems.

Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues, working with IT / Technical team and stakeholder to resolve system-related concerns.
Finance Project Management: (set up SAP, Ariba, etc)

Drive finance transformation initiatives, including system upgrades, automation, and process improvements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines, ensuring successful delivery.

Document project progress, risks, and mitigation plans to ensure alignment with business goals.
Data Management & Reporting:

Consolidate and generate financial reports by extracting data from finance systems and ensuring data integrity.

Maintain and ensure accuracy of financial master data, validating system integration and consistency.

Develop standardized reporting templates and dashboards for finance teams.
Process & System Enhancements:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within finance operations.

Design and implement system enhancements, ensuring alignment with best practices and business needs.
User Training & System Guidelines:

Develop and maintain system user guides, SOPs, and training materials.

Conduct user training sessions to ensure finance teams can effectively utilize systems and reporting tools.

Provide ongoing support to end users, addressing system-related queries and training needs.
Key Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in finance systems management, implementation, or financial project management.

Strong knowledge of financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Power BI, or similar).

Experience in finance data extraction, reporting, and process automation.

Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, or other data visualization tools is a plus.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to train and support finance system users.

Ability to work collaboratively across finance, IT / Technical, and other business functions.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in finance transformation projects and process automation.

Familiarity with data governance and system security principles.

Certification in finance systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday) or project management (PMP, Agile) is a plus.
