Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to galvanize internal (cross-functional teams) & external stakeholders (retailers) to deliver better health outcomes for Canadians leveraging the strength of our Portfolio of brands together with our Responsible Business Agenda. This role is expected to leverage data & analytics (1p data) to power Connected Commerce Consumer Experiences online and offline and execute with excellence in Partnership with external customers.
This role will lead the direction/activation behind above brand Scale initiatives, including connection with Responsible Business, Innovation activation & Category Platforms execution in the physical and digital environments at our retail customers, creating clear prioritization and growth opportunities for our enterprise level portfolio of brands.
This role will consolidate current siloed thinking and budgets around Retail media expenditure online and offline to drive holistic thinking and clear leadership in this space to build efficiencies and effectiveness within this growing media channel.

- Develop 5 year connected experiences strategy (external and internal), inclusive of existing and new pillars of growth, as we are lagging behind key Canadian competitors in this space and it will be an acceleration area for the market.
- Accountable for defining, building, and delivering GWSW (Get Well Stay Well) enterprise scale program (online and offline) to meet financial LRP goals and customer partnership expectations. This includes developing clearly defined ways of working, DAI (Decision maker/ Accountable/ Inform) and procuring and managing a progressive NEW Strategic Agency Partner approach to unlock value for the Canadian BU at pace.
- Collaborate with key internal/external stakeholders to unlock new enterprise level (i.e. Responsible Business) initiatives and solutions (above brand and above customer) ready to customize for retail ready partnership activations.
- Role model ‘Wired for Excellence’ connectivity across Retailer ecosystems to drive online and offline sales. Drive joined up Consumer Experience Thinking/Connectivity Across physical and online touchpoints, powered by 1p data to execute with excellence and drive business growth.
- Accountable for holistic Retail media & shopper marketing planning (brand A+P (advertising and promotion), Trade funding, (Retail Media investments) to drive conversion at retail in support of Innovation, Category Platforms, and Enterprise Scale Programs (GWSW & Responsible business initiatives).
- Drive Prioritization/ air traffic control of Customer activation calendar to deliver optimal ROI. (GWSW scale, Category Platforms, Innovation, Other Enterprise Programs) to ensure seamless Omni channel above brand experiences. Accountable for Customer specific activation partnerships (online and offline) driven by Customer first data and insights.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, with a minimum of 10 years of proven experience, or a master’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience.
- Executive presence, and ability to set direction & inspire whilst also rolling up sleeves with can-do, hands-on approach.
- Relevant knowledge/experience in CRM; includes proven track record of building impactful Scale Activations & Retail Partnerships.
- Experience with FMCG and/or Healthcare goods, knowledge of retail environment.
- Commercial Affinity – experience from a commercial role (sales, marketing, finance); strong P&L acumen.
- Consistent track record of building trusted relationships with agencies and partners.
- Excellent ability to partner with and influence senior enterprise stakeholders; experienced in stakeholder management; working in a complex matrix environment.
- Must have excellent collaboration, relationship building skills.
- Capable to drive change / trigger mind shift.
- Ability to set direction & inspire (win hearts & minds of associates) whilst also rolling up sleeves with can-do, hands-on approach.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to develop/measure programs with sound analytics.
- Strong learning agility in a dynamic /changing environment.
- Ability to lean into ambiguity and define a clear pathway forward.
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Advanced degree/diploma/certification in a related field an asset.
- Proven knowledge of building CRM strategies/content programs leveraging 1P (first party email records) data tactics.
- Tactically strong with good understanding of enterprise level connection points and external customer pressure points.
- Commercial Affinity – ideally experience from a commercial role (sales, marketing, Dcomm, finance), strong P&L (profit and loss) acumen.
