We are looking for a Congress Specialist to support the Marketing Departments in developing and organizing congresses & meetings to drive business results.

In this role your primary objectives are:

  • Development and execution of organization of congresses & meetings (internal & external)

  • Development and execution of communication tools

  • Communicate/train branding guidelines related to congresses & meetings to all stakeholders in EMEA countries and provide support to affiliates to produce brand-consistent congress & meeting materials.

  • Manage marketing material review, approval and tracking system

  • Develop a strong insight and understanding in communication channels, formats (tools & tactics) in terms of impact, target audience, pro's and con's, limitations and whether they fit within the strategy.

  • Track and analyze what the competition is doing in terms of congress presence & communication

  • Stay ahead of the latest development related to meetings with healthcare professionals and implement the latest compliance guidelines including the MedTech Ethical code

  • Coordinate the process flow between external parties and multiple departments

  • Support co-ordination of internal e-mail campaigns and newsletters related to congresses & meetings

  • Follow-up on Marcom budget, purchase orders and invoices.

Your preferred background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications or equivalent by experience

  • Strong experience in organizing congresses and meetings

  • Experience in the healthcare industry is an asset

  • Fluent in English, any additional language is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Expertise in new technologies and digital marketing

  • Customer-oriented attitude with strong communication skills

  • Team player
