What you'll do:
The Conditions Specialist is responsible for the pre-purchase review of Conventional, Non-Conforming, FHA, and VA loan files to ensure file contains the designated set of documentation.
• Serve as an integral part of the pre-purchase review of Conventional, Non-Conforming, FHA, and VA loans files
• Ensure each file contains the designated set of documentation and meets acceptable Underwriting and Compliance (DU, LQA, Fraud and Compliance) standards and complies with established guidelines
• Accurately review loan documentation and collateral files
• Verify accuracy of data between documents and systems
• Analyze documentation provided by the client and promptly remediate stipulations
• Achieve a minimum of 95% Productivity, 85% Quality, 95% completion within SLA
What you'll need:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1-3 years mortgage experience
• Experience working post-close and in processing or analysis of residential mortgage loans
• Basic Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Exceptional organization skills to a pipeline of customers in various loan stages while meeting published production standards
• Proficiency in all areas of loan documentation, loan policies/guidelines, and procedures understanding of current mortgage lending
• Ability to perform highly detailed work with multiple interruptions
• Ability to identify and solve problems with strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
• Must be a self-starter and self -motivated to meet job expectations and goals
• Must be organized, responsible and able to use good judgment
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment and to manage multiple deadlines
• Clear and effective communication skills required
