Bosch R&D Center Lund stands for modern development in cutting edge technology in the areas of connectivity, security, mobility solutions and AI. Job Description
- During product development, you derive and describe the functionality of display products for e-bikes and derive a fitting technical architecture in close interaction within an international and multi-disciplinary engineering team.
- To ensure a cost-efficient and robust product design across engineering domains, you design experiments, measurements and theoretical models to understand relevant cause-effect relationships of your product and come to dependable design and technology decisions.
- Along the product life cycle of your product, you choose fitting engineering methods, such as DRBFM, DFMA, 8D, etc. and bring them successfully into execution within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Your work products are a clear and understandable base to enable electronic, mechanics and software development as well as product validation.
- Being interested in technology trends, you ensure competitive and future proof products and inspire the organization to find new technological answers to ease user pains and make cyclist smile
Qualifications
- Education: completed studies (master or PhD) in engineering, computer science, physics, maths or similar
- Experience: Solid and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of mechanical and hardware engineering, software engineering and digital technologies. Min. 5 year experience in product development role as an engineer.
- Technical know-how: Understanding of MCU architectures and related design/performance effects, ability to read schematic diagrams and organize Hardware/Software interface alignments, understanding of displays technologies and optics, know-how within connectivity technology (especially WiFI/BLE) and streaming protocols.
- Personality and work style: Ability to think and plan strategically, structured and clear. Demonstrated ability to work well with colleagues at all levels. Excellent written and spoken ability to communicate and abstract technically complex matters. Strong "can do" mindset, pragmatism, curiosity for technical detail.
