The Role
The Compliance Governance & Program Support (GPS) team manages important components of Block's Compliance Risk Management Framework within Block Compliance. The GPS team has responsibility for the following responsibilities: Policy Governance, Risk Assessment, Compliance Training, Compliance Risk Assessments, Third Party Risk Management, Regulatory Change Management, and Board/Management Reporting.
As a Compliance Training Analyst within the GPS team, you will support training reporting and administration of Block Inc, level Compliance training, and partner with International, Regional, and Business Unit Compliance Leads to help support training delivery. This role is critical in ensuring that our compliance training programs are data-driven, effective , and aligned with our regulatory and industry standards. In addition to data analysis, you will provide administrative support, including handling email communications, managing project workflows, and maintaining training schedules. You will be focused on using data to guide insights and improvements while also providing critical administrative support to enhance the effectiveness of our training programs. You will help maintain standards , processes, and tools to ensure scalability and growth of the function, and produce a high-quality work product. You will have experience working collaboratively with partners and will communicate requirements of training programs. You will work with other members of the GPS team, and other Compliance teams to develop the program as part of the broader Compliance Risk Management framework. You will report to our Compliance Training Lead.
Our employment model is remote-friendly , offering the opportunity to work with teams across the world. This role can be based remotely in the United States. Flexibility to travel and work across time zones is required.
You Will

  • Analyze training data to assess the effectiveness of compliance programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop compliance reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports for all partners.
  • Conduct data reconciliation to ensure consistency and integrity across training and employee datasets.
  • Provide relevant insights to enhance compliance training outcomes and support decision-making.
  • Support regulatory reporting requests and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage email communications with learners, addressing inquiries and providing support for training-related issues.
  • Oversee the Jira ticketing process to track and resolve issues related to compliance training.
  • Use Asana for task management, ensuring projects are on track and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain the training calendar, scheduling sessions and ensuring timely updates.
  • Perform regular reviews and reconciliation of data within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance training programs align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Design and implement data visualization tools and dashboards to communicate important metrics and insights to non-technical partners.
  • Provide support for training delivery by assisting peers and lead on coordinating logistics, and ensuring the smooth execution of training created
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks to support the GPS team.


You Have

  • 5+ years experience in data analysis and compliance reporting within a FinTech, financial services company, or regulated business.
  • Demonstrated training program management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and data visualization software (e.g., Looker, Looker Studio, Tableau).
  • Experience with administrative tools such as Jira, Asana, and Learning Management Systems (e.g., Workday, Docebo).
  • Experience with compliance regulations and training requirements in the financial sector across geographies.
  • Experience identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
  • Experience presenting complex data insights to non-technical audiences.

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CAMS, CRCM, CFE)

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
