Job Description

As a Compliance Manager, you will oversee and manage compliance in Hungarian H&M stores and ensure that H&M is a place where employees and customers can feel safe. You will be a role model and will promote a health and safety culture in every aspect of your responsibilities!

Working in the role you will be responsible for:

  • Follow up on security results and set action plans cross collaborating with the different functions, to develop procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure that the Health & Safety and Fire Protection rules are kept and followed. 
  • Collect all accident reports and make an action plan for prevention.
  • Make sure that all the payment transaction are done on a proper way according to routines (includes controlling related task).
  • Constant support on the Loss Prevention Strategy for reducing shrinkage.
  • Coordinate the preparation and roll out of inventory in stores.
  • Ensure that the stores receive the correct number of store audits.
  • Aline the priorities with the Loss prevention strategy.
  • Follow up on different asset protection tools.
  • Making sure that skimming routines are followed by store employees.
  • Oversee and support Data Privacy Compliance in the organization.
  • Ensure that Information Security and PCIDSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) trainings are delivered.
  • Educate, develop, and motivate the auditors’ team and secure alignment.
  • Support the Security Department in executing fraudulent investigations.
  • Identify security training needs and decide on the training plan for the country.
  •  Follow-up construction projects that safety rules are secured as well as security equipment are installed properly and meet company’s expectation.

What you need to succeed: 

  • Passion toward physical security in retail. 
  • Clear and inspiring communication, ability to engage colleagues towards the safety mindset.
  • Self-driven, initiative and capability to take decision.
  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • Strategic thinking to contributing to Business progress.
  • Excellent MS office skills.
  • Fluent in Hungarian & English, spoken and written.

Additional Information

This is a full-time job located in Budapest, Hungary. The Compliance Manager is part of Security Department and report to Security Manager.
