Job Summary:
As a Compliance Associate within the Global Anti-Corruption Compliance team, you will partner effectively with various control functions and business lines. This position requires strong project management skills and a keen attention to detail. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in compliance or risk management to contribute to the enhancement of our anti-corruption program and employee conduct initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute preclearance requests supporting the anti-corruption program, focusing on Third Party Intermediaries, Referred Candidates, and Anything of Value workstreams.
- Offer general and advisory support related to referred candidates and third-party intermediaries compliance programs.
- Partner on the development and enhancement of technology owned by the program, driving innovation in risk-related controls.
- Manage a global inventory of outstanding requests, ensuring timely execution of reviews in accordance with service level agreements.
- Support ongoing reengineering efforts associated with the Referred Candidate program, focusing on role realignment and risk ownership.
- Facilitate the Anti-Corruption violation framework and serve as a key contact for policy violations concerning Referred Candidates and Third Party Intermediaries workstreams.
- Contribute to governance related to the Anti-Corruption program, including updating policy and procedure documentation.
- Lead interactions with Anti-Corruption Compliance staff and other personnel regarding Anti-Corruption issues.
- Aid in the development and presentation of materials to senior management.
- Draft and deliver Anti-Corruption training across the firm.
- Assist with internal and external audits, exams, and inquiries as required.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3 or more years of experience in compliance, legal/regulatory, or risk positions;
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated success in driving complex projects to completion.
- Keen attention to detail, with the ability to identify and address compliance issues effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
- Collaborative and energetic team player committed to a positive team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings persuasively.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience with anti-corruption compliance programs.
- Familiarity with global anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws.
- Proficiency in using compliance-related technology and tools.
- A legal degree
- Anti-corruption experience is a plus.
