The Opportunity:
The Human Resources department is seeking a dynamic Compensation Specialist who will play a crucial role in supporting the Compensation team by processing supplemental pay, updating position descriptions, and gathering data for reports. The role works closely with the Compensation Analyst to assist with merit season activities and provides valuable data and insights to the Compensation and Data Analyst team. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively, and an understanding of common compensation and budget practices. This is an in-person role located at the Daytona Beach Campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplemental Pay Processing:
Assist in processing and tracking supplemental pay, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement according to company policies.
Position Description Updates:
Gather and compile data from internal and external sources to ensure up-to-date and accurate position descriptions across the organization.
Collaborate with HR and department heads to ensure all position descriptions reflect current roles and responsibilities.
Data Gathering for Reports:
Support Compensation and Data Analysts by collecting, validating, and organizing compensation data for reports and analysis.
Work with internal and external data sources to gather market trends and benchmark information for compensation analysis.
General Support:
Assist with ad-hoc compensation-related tasks and special projects as needed.
Ensure data integrity and confidentiality across compensation data and systems.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience (Preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience in compensation, finance or budget.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
