Compensation Partner (Specialist)
The Compensation Partner is a highly impactful role partnering with key business leaders and HR Business partners to manage, design and administer global broad-based compensation programs. This position will keep up-to-date on market practices, conduct analytics and assist the Compensation Director with management of best in class compensation programs and tools. The Compensation Partner will be responsible for oversight of division specific compensation needs along with daily responsibilities for key global compensation initiatives.
Accountabilities
- Consulting with leaders and HR partners on compensation-related needs to ensure consistent compensation management within division globally
- Assist with review of global compensation programs and structures for market-competitiveness and provide recommendations for effective change
- Assists with strategy, design, planning, assessment and administration of broad-based compensation projects as needed
- Support benchmarking process to ensure jobs are correctly aligned to global structures
- Partner with leaders and HR Partners on data analytics and provide consulting on best practices in compensation management
- Responsible for monitoring new or revised laws and regulations for impact to global compensation programs
- Administer and refine global compensation administration processes as assigned
- Evaluation of compensation impacts of M&A activity or organizational redesign activity
- Key responsibilities for global programs or processes as assigned; ranging from salary structure development and administration, incentive plan design and administration, sales incentive plan support, recognition programs, global allowances, etc.
- Liaison with other Compensation team members to ensure global alignment of compensation practices/programs and adherence to best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7+ years of experience in HR/broad-based compensation matters
- Experience in publicly traded multi-business unit company with global footprint
- Experience with global salary structures, incentive and sales plan design and support
- Ability to prioritize work and ensure deadlines are met; high attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly, partner with various teams within the organization and influence key leaders
- Strong analytical and financial acumen required
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
