POSITION SUMMARY:
Partners with Compensation Consulting group and other Rewards team members to manage key broad based and other Total Rewards initiatives. Works with team to develop and support an ongoing competitive companywide compensation program. Participates in compensation planning, pay structure, and policies including base pay, incentives, and recognition programs
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts analysis of jobs in order to evaluate and recommend adjustments required to maintain internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance of the organization's pay practices while maintaining optimal data integrity.
- Participates in annual and quarterly compensation planning. May include audits, testing, training various partners on the tool. Various administrative tasks during the review timeline.
- Partners with vendors to ensure renewal of all relevant salary survey sources. Provides recommendations on enhancements to salary survey library, reporting, improved efficiencies, etc. and ensuring we are utilizing as much as available through third party sources. Researches, analyses, and prepares assigned salary planning recommendations.
- Prepares data submission packages to participate in salary surveys. Ensures the accurate matching of positions partnering with Compensation Consultant(s). Upon receipt of results, partners with third party vendor to ensure loading of results to automated tool.
- Maintains the organization wide HRIS tables as relevant to compensation (e.g., job code table, salary range table, etc.); ensure relevant coding is complete and accurate.
- Maintains the organization's database of positions descriptions; manages version control to ensure the organization is always referring to the most up-to-date version. In partnership with HR Business Partners and Compensation Consultants, develops and revises job descriptions ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Reviews the ongoing changes to regulatory and compliance changes and makes recommendations (i.e., state and local minimum wage changes).
- Maintains final compensation related documents in respective organizational sites (PAL, Manager e-Binder, WD, Compensation Drive).
- Assists in other ad hoc analysis in partnership with Compensation Consultants, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, etc., as required or requested.
- Administers enterprise-wide Employee Stock Purchase Plan including quarterly communications, enrollments, contributions updates and purchases.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in one of the following: broad base, executive and HR specific related Compensation experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Human Resources, or related degree is required
- Working knowledge of Workday or other large ERP system
- Working knowledge of salary structure development principles and compensation market pricing analysis.
- Effective communication skills, including verbal, written communications, as well as ability to interact with all levels of organization.
- Proficient analytical, problem solving and detail- oriented
- Strong Excel background (e.g. VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, etc.)
- Ability to use integrity in handling confidential company and sensitive employee information.
