About the Position
Dexis is looking for a highly qualified Community of Interest/Sub-Working Groups Manager to support work with the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA). This project will provide a broad range of assessment, monitoring, and evaluation (AM&E) support to DSCA. Project tasks will include desk and field research, analysis, data collection and visualization, strategy development, policy writing and coordination, distribution list management, AM&E capacity building, event organizing and facilitation, and administrative backstopping.
Responsibilities
- Lead the management of AM&E Sub-Working Groups as part of the Interagency AM&E Community of Interest (CoI).
- Support planning, design, and implementation of Sub-Working Groups focused on topics including: geographic regions, types of Security Cooperation programs, AM&E policy and doctrine, AM&E templates and global data sources, analytical methodologies, mapping entry points for AM&E into decision-making, AM&E training/education and certification, congressional engagement on AM&E, and AM&E operations.
- Manage the schedule and invitations for the Working Group and Sub-Working Group meetings, rosters of Working Group participants, and materials shared during Working Group meetings.
- Draft updates on Sub-Working Group progress for regular client status reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-7 years of experience strategizing, planning, designing, or implementing assessment, monitoring or evaluation programs or projects in the security sector for a department, agency or bureau of the US government, a national organization, an NGO/IGO, the UN, or private industry
- 2 years of experience coordinating interagency monitoring and evaluation efforts
- 2 years of experience facilitating working groups, including establishment of charters, maintenance of primary and secondary Points of Contact (POCs), setting working group agenda, taking roll calls, keeping minutes and time during meetings, storing and disseminating information, orienting new members, facilitating and navigating disagreements of differences of perspectives during discussions, and proposing changes to working group processes, governance, and organization
- Familiarity with DoDI 5132.14
- Active DoD secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience strategizing, planning, designing, or implementing assessment, monitoring or evaluation programs or projects in the security sector for a department, agency or bureau of the US government, a national organization, an NGO/IGO, the UN, or private industry
- 4 years of experience coordinating interagency monitoring and evaluation efforts
- 4 years of experience facilitating working groups, including establishment of charters, maintenance of primary and secondary Points of Contact (POCs), setting working group agenda, taking roll calls, keeping minutes and time during meetings, storing and disseminating information, orienting new members, facilitating and navigating disagreements of differences of perspectives during discussions, and proposing changes to working group processes, governance, and organization
- Master’s degree (or higher) and formal training or education in the field of assessment, monitoring, and evaluation or a related field
Below is the pay range aligned with this position. When developing a range, Dexis evaluates compensation holistically, triangulating between external market research, our budget for the position, and internal equity to arrive at a figure that is fair and competitive. Offers within this range will be based on an individual candidate's qualification, relevant education and experience, skills, performance, and organizational needs.
Dexis pay range for this role:
$75,000—$110,000 USD
