This position is a hybrid in-office role that works out of our Technology Development Hub off in Seattle, WA. Monday-Thursday will be working in office and Friday is WFH. This is not a virtual / remote position.

As a CE Site Lead you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, welcoming, and efficient environment for our employees while promoting Wayfair’s culture. You will also work directly with a variety of vendors and employees while presenting yourself in a professional and helpful manner.
What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities:
- Seattle Office Management
- Responsible for the overall management of a satellite corporate office, including facilities, vendor management, security, technology fixes, administrative duties, and office-related employee issues.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors for site maintenance, including administration of bidding/awarding/finalizing local contracts, services and maintenance agreements.
- Take an active role in working with contractors, architects, and space planners to facilitate office moves and expansions.
- Work with the Global Safety and Security team to develop emergency, safety, and training procedures.
- Write and execute timely communications, both written and verbal, to your employee population on relevant office news ranging from security topics to employee event offerings.
- Be prepared to respond professionally and appropriately during emergency situations; maintain accessibility during off-hours to respond to building-related incidents or other emergencies.
- Troubleshoot technology, including google rooms, wifi/internet, printer, and more in partnership with Employee Technology.
- Collaborate with the talent team to onboard all new hires; coordinate access badges for new hires and employees.
- Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
- Seattle Employee Engagement
- Partner with Global Community Experience & Engagement to drive employee engagement in the office with quarterly and monthly events, onsite and offsite, to foster a culture that aligns with Wayfair’s values.
- Develop routine communications plans to alert employees about engagement offerings and subsequent mechanisms for feedback.
- ServiceNow Management
- Lead the Community Experience (CE) team in front and back end improvements and development related to tickets, analytics, seat movements.
- Field all Seattle related ServiceNow tickets related to CE and IT.
- Collaborate with other CE and IT stakeholders.
What You’ll Need:
- 3+ years equivalent work experience.
- Experience managing an office space or other similar facilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing relationships across business lines within a corporation, including interfacing with senior leadership.
- Experience in external vendor cost negotiations, comparing multiple quotes.
- Ability to utilize seasoned quantitative and analytical skills to make strong business judgments in the best interest of the company, while juggling competing priorities and remaining organized.
- Capable of lifting 25 pounds.
- A proactive, self-starter with professional and senior presence, showcased through excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency using task management and CRM software.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Hospitality and customer service management experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
