Education:    Required – High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred – Associate’s degree.

Experience: Required – With a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of related direct service experience, customer service experience or public speaking skills.
Preferred – Associate’s degree substitutes for experience.

Essential Functions:
1.    Conduct community outreach, educating potential clients, professionals, and others about program and agency services.
2.    Complete all required program documentation.
3.    Record all group and individualized services and activities in a complete, concise, and timely manner utilizing program forms into Salesforce (BCFS) software.
4.    Provide referrals to participants based on needs identified while conducting outreach efforts.
5.    Coordinate and facilitate events, meetings and/or training for program participants.
6.    Occasionally facilitate and provide classroom training including the core programs (Love Notes, and applicable curricula).
7.    Meet with the Program Director on a bi-weekly basis to evaluate the status of outreach/education strategies.
8.    Apply working knowledge of parent-child interaction, child development, and dynamics of child abuse/neglect to teach positive parenting and non-violent child management techniques.
9.    Record all group and individualized services and activities in a complete, concise, and timely manner utilizing program forms into PEIRS (DFPS) and Salesforce (BCFS) software.
10.    Maintain confidential client files for assigned participants.

Measurable Deliverables:
1.    Obtain and maintain certification in curriculum administration.
2.    Meet all pre-determined deadlines required by the Director and/or state partners.
3.    Meet all state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.
4.    Document all daily outreach efforts, participant assistance, events, and activities completely, accurately and in a timely manner and in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
5.    Schedule promotion efforts consistently throughout the fiscal year.
6.    Implement BCFS HHS safety protocols, at all times.
7.    Attend all required training.
8.    Maintain BCFS HHS professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in BCFS employee handbook.
9.    Demonstrate the ability to:
a.    Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
b.    Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English.
c.    Work in a fast-paced environment.
d.    Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
e.    Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
f.    Travel as needed.
10.    Other job duties as assigned per grant requirements.

Requirements:
1.    Maintain certificates required for the position including but not limited to First Aid and CPR.
2.    Valid Texas Driver’s license with a clear driving record and reliable transportation.
3.    Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens. 
4.    Provide proof or work eligibility status upon request.
5.    Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background and motor vehicle check (fingerprints needed if applicant has lived out of state within the past 5 years).
