Job Summary:
At Exos, we are seeking a dynamic and engaging Community Engagement Associate to join our team at a Multi-Tenant Wellbeing Center. This unique role combines the expertise of a performance coach with the welcoming presence of a Community Engagement associate to create a vibrant, supportive, and high-energy community. This position will assist in driving engagement, fostering a sense of belonging among members, and supporting the Community Engagement Manager in growing a bustling employee wellbeing center.
Responsibilities:
Member Engagement & Community Building:

Serve as the first point of contact, greeting and welcoming new fitness center members.

Provide personalized customer service with a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude, embodying the Exos Core Values.

Assist with membership enrollment, ensuring an exceptional onboarding experience for all members.

Respond to members' concerns, suggestions, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Coordinate and support community engagement initiatives, including fitness challenges, incentive programs, and wellbeing events.

Assist in tracking and reporting on member engagement and participation metrics.

Foster a strong sense of community by creating meaningful interactions and experiences that align with Exos' holistic approach to performance and wellbeing.
Performance Coaching & Fitness Programming:

Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes, accommodating various fitness levels and abilities.

Conduct fitness assessments and prescribe personalized exercise plans based on Exos' methodology.

Provide one-on-one consultations, personal training, and motivation to help members achieve their performance and wellness goals.

Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety, proper form, and adherence to workout plans.

Assist in implementing Exos' specialized programs focused on health promotion, engagement, and retention.
Operational & Administrative Support:

Support accurate fitness center membership reporting and complete monthly membership audits.

Ensure the facility remains well-stocked, clean, and welcoming for all members.

Assist with additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field preferred and/or a current certification from a nationally accredited industry association (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE) (or obtained within 90 days of hire).

CPR/AED/First Aid certification required (or obtained within 90 days of hire).

Minimum of 6 months of industry experience, including internships.

Strong customer service skills with an outgoing personality and ability to build lasting relationships.

Knowledge of Google applications and Microsoft Office Suite.

Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $15.50/hour to $25.00/hour. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs. Exos offers a comprehensive benefits package for all full time employees (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements), which includes health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Additionally, Exos offers a variety of part time benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
